Sukhi Jandu

Meet The Candidate

Sukhi Jandu is a first generation Canadian professional.  Hailing from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sukhi moved to Ottawa to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Since then, Sukhi has worked for the National Headquarters for the Conservative Party of Canada as well as for several Members of Parliament. She has also been an active volunteer and activist for urban Indigenous communities both in Winnipeg and Ottawa.

Sukhi is passionate about supporting affordable housing incentives, small business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as improving access to mental health services for all Canadians. Sukhi understands first hand the challenges faced by young Canadians when it comes to attempting to enter the housing market, or pursue their dreams of starting and sustaining their business ventures. As a child of small business owners, Sukhi has seen the economic hardships that come from an uncertain economy. Access to mental health services has always been top of mind to Sukhi, and so she would support incentives where funds are increased to the province for mental health care and employers are incentivized to provide mental health coverage to their employees. As well as the creation of a nation wide three-digits suicide prevention hotline, where any Canadian could call to request assistance.

Sukhi would make an excellent Member of Parliament for Spadina-Fort York because she brings new ideas, unique perspectives, and has devoted her career to serving others. Sukhi has the experience, dedication, and knowledge it takes to represent you and to be your voice on the Federal level. Electing Sukhi Jandu means her door will always be open for constituents to communicate their concerns.
